THE INEVITABILITY OF FATE

E poi succede che mentre girovaghi per Second Life alla ricerca di un posto adatto per fare delle foto con i tuoi outfit ti ritrovi in un mondo quasi surreale ma che capisci subito che ha qualcosa di particolare e di speciale, che ha qualcosa da dirti. È quello che mi è capito arrivando a Two Fish. È vero a un primo sguardo può sembrare un semplice posto con un'ambientazione surreale, ma poi capisci che non è così. Ti ritrovi con occhi che ti inseguono o con cubi che ti intrappolano. Continui a girare ancora e a un certo punto diventa tutto più chiaro: leggi la storia che ti stanno raccontando e ogni cosa acquista significato, ogni cosa ha un senso.

Ancora una volta Second Life sa sorprenderti, a me è successo.

Consiglio a tutti di visitare quella bellissima installazione creata da Rose Borchovski e da Caer Balogh. Ogni tanto anche su Second Life ci si può fermare un attimo e riflettere…..

And then it happens that while wandering for Second Life in search of a suitable place to take pictures with your outfits you find in a world almost surreal but you know immediately that it has something of particular and special, it has something to tell you. That's what I understood coming to Two Fish. True, at first glance may seems like a simple place with surreal ambiance, but then you realize that it does not. You can see eyes that chase you or cubes that trap you. Continuing to go around, and at some point it becomes more clear: read the story telling and everything makes sense, everything has a meaning.

Again Second Life knows surprise, it happened to me.

I recommend everyone to visit this beautiful installation created by Rose Borchovski and Caer Balogh. Every now and also in Second Life you can stop for a moment and think .......

La storia di Angry Beth e Lot

Lot si svegliò alle otto, il sole brillava e tutti erano felici.

Ma poi venne la guerra e tutto cambiò.

Una mano dura governava il mondo di Beth e Lot.

Sono stati costretti a lasciare.

Sono stati separati l'uno dall'altro.

Sono diventati nemici.

La guerra era amara e lunga.

Dopo la guerra tornò Beth.

Il bambino Lot era scomparso; non si sa dove fosse andato.

Beth continua la ricerca di Lot.

Nei giorni buoni, Beth è in grado di immaginare che

Lot vola come un uccello, con il viso verso il cielo,

alla ricerca delle stelle.

Nei giorni cattivi, Beth non può che essere arrabbiata per la sua perdita.

Le ferite di Beth non si potranno mai guarire.

Lot non aveva alcuna possibilità di diventare chi avrebbe voluto essere ..

A story about Angry Beth and Lot

Lot turned eight, the sun did shine and all were happy.

But then the war came and all did change.

A harsh hand ruled the world of Beth and Lot.

They were forced to leave.

They were separated from each other.

They were made the enemy.

The war was bitter and long.

After the war Beth returned.

The child Lot had disappeared; no one knows where she went.

Beth keeps searching for Lot.

On good days, Beth is able to imagine that

Lot is flying like a bird, with her face towards the sky,

searching for the stars.

On bad days, Beth can only be angry about her loss.

Beth’s wounds will never heal.

Lot had no chance to become who she meant to be..
